Kabul Zwanan vs Kandahar Knights 8th Match Prediction

Betting Tips

Kabul Zwanan have won two of their three matches so far, beating Paktia Panthers on the opening night before bouncing back from defeat to Balkh Legends by beating Nangarhar Leopards.

Kabul Zwanan batsman Hazratullah Zazai hit the APL’s first century, when he bludgeoned 124 from 55 balls in the seven-wicket win against the Leopards..

After defeats in their first two games, Kandahar Knights are the only team yet to win so far in this year’s APL – their two scores, 139/9 and 152/7, are the two lowest completed innings in the tournament so far.

Kabul Zwanan have elected to field on both occasions they have won the toss. Their only defeat came batting first, so expect Rashid Khan to field first if given the choice.

Kabul Zwanan Team News

Kabul Zwanan made one change from the team beaten by Balkh Legends, with Muslim Musa making way for Nijat Masood. He too was expensive with the ball, as was Ali Khan who was dropped after the first game. With Wayne Parnell also shipping runs, the latter could come back in to face Kandahar Knights; while the batting line-up is well set, it is clear they are yet to find their best bowling attack.

Kandahar Knights Team News

Kandahar Knights have been unchanged in their two matches so far, but may look to make changes after two defeats. Wicket-keeper Karim Sadiq has failed to score in either of his two innings, while fast bowler Tymal Mills has been expensive and wicketless in the two games so far.

UAE international Mohammad Naveed is one option to come in for the latter, but the Knights have been hamstrung by the unavailability of Wahab Riaz, Sam Billings, Iftikhar Ahmed, Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Mithun from their original roster. Sadiq could be replaced by Munir Ahmad, meanwhile.
